Born September 15, 1940 in Mechanicsburg, Andrea was the daughter of the late Joseph P. and Gladys (Coble) Dean.
Andrea retired after 27 years of dedicated service as a secretary with Mechanicsburg Presbyterian Church. She also held membership with the church and participated in the Bells of Celebration as well as the Presbyterian Women's group. Andrea was a volunteer with Mechanicsburg Meals on Wheels and the Joseph T. Simpson Public Library. Andrea was a voracious reader and enjoyed counted cross stich, playing the piano, crossword puzzles, collecting angels, and her many trips to OCNJ, Williamsburg, and Cape Cod. Above all else, Andrea cherished the time she spent with her family.
Andrea is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Ranny L. Singiser, her four children Scott Singiser (Kim) of Carlisle, Karen Vandrew (Alan) of Mechanicsburg, Brad Singiser (Candy) of Sarasota, FL, and Eric Singiser (Michelle) of Elizabethtown, a sister Norma White of Mechanicsburg, 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Andrea was preceded in death by her daughter in law Dr. Aisha Goheer and by her granddaughter Layla Singiser.
Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Mechanicsburg Presbyterian Church with visitation held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Private interment will take place at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
Flowers for the ceremony will be provided by the family. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Andrea may be made to Mechanicsburg Presbyterian Church, Mechanicsburg Meals on Wheels, or to Homeland Hospice.
