He was born March 28, 1928, to Jacob and Elizabeth (Epp) Willems in McPherson County. They preceded him in death. He married Delores , in Buhler. She survives.
He was a lifetime Harvey/Reno County resident. He was a farmer and worked as a service manager for King Motor Company of Hesston for 20 years. He was also an instructor at McPherson College for 20 years. He was an expert in antique car restoration. He was a member of the Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church in rural Inman.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday with family greeting friends from 2 to 4 p.m. at Buhler Mortuary.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church in rural Inman with Pastor Willmar Harder officiating.
Burial will be in Hoffnungsau Cemetery in rural Inman.
Memorials have been established with the Davita Newton Dialysis Center in care of the funeral home, 120 N. Main Street, Buhler, KS 67522.
