Born in Peabody on August 11, 1942, she was the daughter of the late George and Pearl (Wren) Delp. Phyllis was raised and educated in Danvers and graduated from Danvers High School as well as the Wilfred Academy of Hairdressing. She also graduated from the Education for Ministry in 2006. Phyllis was an active member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Danvers. She was a member of the Society of the Companions of the Holy Cross, Parker River Chapter. She had a long career as a caretaker for the elderly and had been employed with the Willows in Westboro for several years.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carrie Endicott and Gary Nelson of Danvers. She was predeceased by her siblings, George Delp, Dorothy Belleau and Bradley Delp.
