Mary Marie Brandon was born in Lathrop, Missouri, December 19, 1894, and passed away at Wesley Hospital in Wichita, Kansas, April 28, 1944.

She was united in marriage to John H. Olson in Kansas City, Missouri August 2, 1917. To this union one child was born; Dorothy, now the wife of Lt. S.C. Boardman, U.S.N.R. of San Diege, California; a step-daughter, Gwendolyn is the wife of Harold Pugh of Chase, Kansas.

Mrs. Olson is survived by her husband, her daughter and step-daughter, her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Boone Brandon of Adrain, Missouri, one granddaughter, Jo Ann Pugh of Chase, Kansas. seven brothers and two sisters, Thos. E. Brandon of Odessa, Texas; Jet Brandon of Kansas City, Missouri, Jerome T. Brandon of Eureka, Kansas; George Dewey Brandon, Pomona, California; Dale Brandon of Kansas City, Missouri; Corp. Charles G. Brandon now in the Central Pacific area; Mrs. Nelle Brooks of Kansas City, Missouri; Mrs. Meleese Cornett of Eureka, Kansas. One sister is deceased.

Mrs. Olson was a member of the Baptist Church in Eureka.

She was a good neighbor and mother and leaves a large circle of friends who deeply sympathize with the bereaved loved ones in their great loss. Mrs. Olson had been in failing health for more than a year and more seriously ill for the past three months.

Funeral service, conducted by thr Rev. Arthur W. Johnson will be held from the Baird Funeral home Friday, April 28, 1944 at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
