Marvin R. Johnson, 67, of Holiday, formerly of South Bend, died at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday in the New Port Richey Hospital, Holiday. He was a retired representative of the South Bend Tool and Die Co. Born on March 28, 1908, in Chicago, he had lived in Holiday nine years, moving there from South Bend.
Surviving are his widow, Helen, and two grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Forest G. Hay and Son Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood.
Rev. L.G.D. Wertz, pastor of the Portage Chapel United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Johnson was a member of the Portage Chapel Church; St. Joseph Lodge 45, AM Elks' Lodge 235 and the Scottish Rite, Valley of South Bend.
