Mary graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School. She then attended Northampton Community College and Kutztown State College. Mary was a teacher and substitute teacher at the former Our Lady of Hungary School. She was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church and the Women's Guild. She had a deep devotion to the Blessed Mother and the Rosary. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Survivors: daughters, Mary Twigg, Elizabeth Grammes and husband, Marc, and Christine Kratzer and husband, David; grandchildren, Stephen, Maria, Katherine, Benjamin and fiancée, Brianna, Timothy, John, Joseph and wife, Allison, Laura and fiancé, Alex, David and wife, Ashley, and Amy; great-granddaughter, Madison; sister-in-law, Kathryn Csencsits; and several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her brother, Paul, and son-in-law, Donald Twigg.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 5th at 10:30 a.m. in the church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:15 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
