Chesapeake ~ Margaret Estelle Hogge, 91, of Chesapeake, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008. Born April 7, 1916 to the late Paul M., Sr. and Martha Oglesby Hogge.
Margaret was saludatorian of her 1933 graduating class from Portlock High School.
She is survived by two brothers and their spouses, Paul M., Jr. and Wilma Hogge of Norfolk and Lonnie R. and Thelma Hogge of Christiansburg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and sister, Grace E. Riportella.
A celebration of Margaret's life was held 11am, Friday, March 7, 2008 in Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., with Pastor Gloria Dudley officiating. Interment Rosewood Memorial Park. The family received friends 7pm - 8pm, Thursday, March 6, 2008, in the funeral home.
