Last Friday morning death invaded the home of Mr and Mrs Wm H Smith, in North Beckley, and took therefrom their 8-year-old son, Harry, who was taken seriously ill Thursday. Death was caused by strangulation from stomach worms. The body was prepared for burial by Undertaker H F Wilfong and held until Sunday to await the arrival of Joe Smith, an older brother, who is located in Wheeling. Later a telegram was received that he could not attend the funeral. The body was laid to rest in Wildwood cemetery, witnessed by a number of relatives and friends.
