Dr. Alan Douglas Bryson, age 67, of Anderson, SC, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 3, 2023, at his home.
Born August 31, 1955, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of Melvin T. Bryson and the late Romola Collins Bryson.
Alan was a graduate of T.L. Hanna High School Class of 1972 and a graduate of Cumberland College and Samford University. He enjoyed his work as a pharmacist with CVS and dearly loved serving his patients. He was known to be set in his ways, a workaholic, and an overachiever who believed one never stopped learning.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughter, Lori Vild (Donny); grandchildren, Skyler Cagle and Savannah Cagle; brothers, Dr. Don Bryson (Janie), and Nathan Bryson (Beth); and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 10:00 am at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Donny Vild officiating.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to MSM Ranch, Mini Equine Rescue, 145 Latham Dr., Anderson, SC 29621.
