Morley, May 20 - At his home in Morley, April 4th, occurred the death of Henry Frauton, aged 79 years. The deceased was born in the State of New York, near Champlain. With his parents he moved from there when a boy to Waddington; after living there a few years he went to Buck's Bridge where he and John Baxter as partners bought in 1860 a saw and shingle mill of Warren Wright. They were in business together for some years. In 1861 he married Mary Countryman. When the Civil war broke out his partner was drafted and he bought out Mr. Baxter's interest in the mill property and later on took William Wright in as partner. In 1866 he sold out to William Wright and bought a saw and shingle mill in Morley where he remained with his family and resided here until his death. He was a man of sterling integrity and had many friends. He leaves his widow and three children and five grandchildren. The children are: Elmer of this place; Roscoe of Philadelphia, Pa, and Dora, Mrs. E. A. Porter, of Gloversville. The youngest daughter, Mildred, Mrs. F. B. Sanford, passed away over two years ago.
