Anna Mae Bernstein, 79, of Hedgesville, died on Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Berkeley Springs Rehab and Nursing Home.

Born November 19, 1930 in Pikesville, MD she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Carey Sullivan.

She was a co-owner of The Woods Resort; a member of Women of the Moose, and Woods Golf Association.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph "Buddy" Bernstein and wife, Laura of Columbia, MD, Robert I. Bernstein and wife, Nina of Berkeley Springs; one daughter, Sandra Kirsh and husband, Lee of Mt. Washington, MD; three grandchildren, Anthony, Robbie, and Jaden; one great-grandchild, Alyssa; and her loving companion, John Ryan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bernstein; and seven brothers, Gilbert, John, Woody, Tommy, Emory, Elmer, and Buddy Sullivan.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 11:00AM at the Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King Street, Martinsburg, WV with Rev. Jack Vineyard officiating. Interment will be at Hedges Chapel, The Woods, Mountain Lake Road.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM and 7:00PM to 9:00PM at the funeral home.
