John Benjamin Guy married Dora Johnson. They had
9 children. The TN obit listed 9 children but, I do not know the names of 9 children.

His middle name was used as D in his obit by his daughter, Ollie Guy Barnes.

We do not know if she was the one that spelled their last name as Guye vs Guy on their headstones. It may have been Ollie's husband, George W Barnes. ? Or an error made


I heard many good loving stories of him and their life in Nashville then of them moving to Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee. The stories came from my grandmother, and great grandmother. They were members of a Nashville Church and found a new Church home in Jackson, TN.

Daughter's known; Clara Mai Guy Herron Bowers, my great great grandmother.

Ollie Tucker Guy Barnes married George W Barnes.

Daisy M Guy married 3 times. First, TN marriage ended in divorce to Lewis D Archey having two children. Son, Norman, Daughter, Louise. 2nd TN marriage in 1906 Madison County TN to A D Barnes. A D Barnes adopted both children. After the death of A D Barnes, Daisy remarried Thomas David " Tom" Turner, after he lost his first wife.

Annie Geneva Guy had a daughter with Leamon Radford Green, naming her Clara Mai Green. Annie married _____ King having two stillborn babies in Nashville, TN. Annie died 1921 in Nashvillle TN per Spring Hill Cemetery. No headstone.

Son, Archie David Guy married 3 times. He had two daughter's with Ruth Green. Their marriage ended in divorce.
