Mrs. Lillie Pearl Maxwell, 81, of the Old Athens Road, Princeton, died in a Princeton hospital early Sunday morning following a short illness.
Born at Pipestem, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Mote Meadows Jones. She was a member of the Melrose Presbyterian Church and had resided in Mercer County for the past 55 years. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Clayton Maxwell; one daughter, Mrs. Velma McClung and one sister, Mrs. Bessie Keaton.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs Dual (Odessa) Hill of Princeton; four sisters, Mrs Lula Martin of Pearisburg, Va, Mrs Orpha Hopkins of Lerona, Mrs Eva Neely of Pipestem and Mrs. Nellie Lilly of Princeton; two brothers, Fred Jones of Lick Creek and Sam Jones of Newport, Ky,
