Marie Louise (Morissette) Rousseau, 100, died Friday at a local nursing home. She was widow of Edmond J. Rousseau.
She was born in St. Sophie, Canada, on April 28, 1895, a daughter of Gedeon Morissette and the late Mrs. Vitalin (Roy) Morissette, and resided in Pawtucketville for most of her life.
She was a communicant of Ste. Jeanne D'Arc Church and a former member of the Ste. Anne's Solality for many years.
She was a dress designer all her life until her retirement 10 years ago.
She is survived by a son, Louis Edmond Rousseau and his wife, Pauline (Gagnon) Rousseau of Lowell; two granddaughters, Marianne Rousseau-Alsberg of Weare, N. H., and Catherine Dunham of Bradford; a grandson, Paul E. Rousseau of Chelmsford; two great-grandchildren, Marissa Rousseau and Paul Edmond Rousseau Jr. of Chelmsford; two sisters-in-law, Helene M. Laurin of Chelmsford and Dorothy Rousseau of Lowell, a brother-in-law, Ernest Rousseau of Lowell; also nieces and nephews including Mrs. Philip (Fernanade Daigle) Champagne, Mrs. Agnes (Daigle) Breton, Mrs. Antoine "Tony" Therese Daigle) Pelletier, George Daigle, all of Lowell, and Brother Donat Daigle of Augusta, Maine.
