She was born Jan. 29, 1930, in Irvington in Breckinridge County. She was a music educator for Hardin County Schools for 18 years and owned and operated a dress shop in Vine Grove during the 1960s. She was a member of Vine Grove United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Beulah Haynes Penick and Hubert Earl Penick; a brother, Russell Penick; and a sister, Anita Chism.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby F. Moore; a sister, Dorothy Wright of Harned; two stepsons, Edward L. Moore and his wife, Cindy, of Abingdon, Va., and Tony Moore and his wife, Kim, of St. Louis; a stepdaughter, Anne Moore Smith and her husband, Jim, of Columbus, Ohio; six stepgrandchildren; a stepgreat-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Irvington.
