OBITUARY: "George M. Staudt George M. Staudt, 918 Main Simpson, died Tuesday in St. Josephs Hospital, Carbondale. His widow is the former Mary Kutch. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., son of Emil and Rose Venterini Staudt, he attended St. Leonards School, Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. Prior to retirement, he was employed by the Robert Gair Co., New York City. Also surviving are two sons, George, Ramsey, N.J., and Donald, Newburg, N.Y.; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Robinson, Atlanta, a brother, Benedict Staudt, Babylon, N.Y.; three granddaughters; nieces and nephews. A great-grandchild preceded him in death. The funeral will be Friday from the Joseph W. Scotchlas Funeral Home, 621 Main Simpson, with Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale.
