George F. Falconi, born April 7, 1952 and a lifelong resident of Waterford Works, passed away peacefully at home on December 4, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was in the Army Reserves and worked as a mechanic for New Jersey Transit for 20 years.

An avid fisherman, George's favorite thing to do was fish on his boat, "The Sweet Thang" with his companion Lois. He also loved deep sea fishing, deer hunting and pheasant hunting. George enjoyed spending his time playing his guitars and going to watch his friend's bands play. He always knew where to get the tastiest food, such as a good hoagie or the best Chinese.
George was like the town Mayor, he knew everyone and everyone knew him; especially, his long-time childhood friends who call him Georgie.
He was the loving companion of 34 years to Lois Heggan. Loving father figure to Kami, Ashley, Joseph (Beth) and Norman (Linda). Grandfather of five to Brandon, Angel, Tristan, Christopher, Jr., and Aslinn. Dear son of the late Vito and Mary Falconi. Dear brother of Joe, the late Louie, Frank, and Adeline "Sissy." Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 6pm-8pm at LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004. A funeral service will begin at 8pm at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 10am at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hammonton, NJ. Donations may be made in George's memory to Samaritan Hospice.
