Cpl. U.S. Army, Vietnam War-Cpl. Brooks was killed in action by small arms fire on 9-6-1970 while serving as a Light Weapons Infantryman with Co. C of the 3rd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade. Cpl. Brooks started his tour of Vietnam on 5-15-1970;

Cpl. Brooks is the son of Mrs. Mary J. Davison of 8101 Marion Street, Detroit, Michigan.

Awards: Purple Heart Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, NDS Medal.
