Donald M. VanDehey passed on to internal glory on Sunday, March 13, 2022 at his home in Crystal MN.

Donald was born on November 3, 1933 in Iron Mountain Michigan to Leonard VanDehey and Ione.

Don is survive by his loving wife of 63 years, Shirley (Haessly) VanDehey, his son Tom and wife Lynette (Spiegel) Vandehey and son Andrew and son Dan. Also sister Margaret Kraus,Mildred Schill and brother, Michael (Roberta) Vandehey, many nieces and nephews and good friends.

Donald was proceeded in death by his parents and brothers, Larry, Leonard, Frank, James and sister, Sr.Marietta.

Donald was a US Army veteran, serving Bourdeau, France. Later a CPA and worked for Wipfli and Allrich in Wasau, WI.

Moved to Minneapolis and worked for Theordore Stark & Co, worked for himself, and the last 34 years work for Skiline builders. Loved his work, truly a numbers man having a great memory.

Also loved attending baseball and Hockey game sons and grandson, hardly ever missing a game. Loved to golf-even got a hole-in-one.

Donald will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather as well as a loyal friend.

He was generous and fun, never having a complaint, love to joke, avid reader of the newspaper liked to brag about the sports Achievements of sons, grandson and brothers. He will be sorely missed.

Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Olaf Catholic Church 215 South 8th Street Minneapolis, MN 55402 visitation Saturday, March 19, 2022 9 to 10 AM, Mass at 10 AM.
