Annie was a bundle of energy. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and canning; she always kept busy and never sat idle for long. She was loving, spunky and always had a smile on her face. She loved spending time with friends and family and meeting people everywhere. People who met her quickly came to love her. Annie graduated from Gallatin High School and completed her entire education without missing a day throughout her 12 years. Annie met the love of her life Joe Adair, Jr., while working at National Life in Nashville and married on December 5, 1959. Annie was passionate about her family. She always looked forward to family gatherings with everyone all together in one place. Her spirit, smile, and love will be greatly missed.
Annie is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Joe Adair, Jr., her parents Harry and Geneva Canter, brother Tommy Canter, brothers in law Rodney Adair and James Adair. She is survived by her daughters Lynnisse (Mozy) Roshanfar and Lorie (Gary) Heinz; grandchildren Alena (Jake) Doyle, Mitra Roshanfar, Chris (Ashley) Roshanfar, and Riley Heinz, great-grandsons Jacob and Braeden; numerous loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition, she is survived by her daughter from another mother Dianne Teague and family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023, from 10am-12pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin in the Chapel at the funeral home at 12pm with burial to follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
