Mrs. Vera Lee Shelton, 95, of Blue Ridge, GA, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023, in Cedar Bluff AL.
The youngest of eight children, she was born in Pierce County, GA, to the Late William Arthur and Ida Foster Carver. She graduated from Rome High and was a devout member of the Church of Christ. She Lived in Rome, GA most of her life, retiring to Blue Ridge in 1992.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 year, Charles Robert Shelton, her beloved cat, Harry, and her siblings, Eloise Lacey, Johnnie Little, Andy Carver, W.A. Carver Jr., and Bill Cason.
Mrs. Shelton is survived by her brother-in-law, and her many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Shelton will be cremated, and a graveside service will be planned at a later date.
