NOTTINGHAM — Marion Alice (Twombly) Chase, 85, formerly of Hallsway, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011, at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.H.

Marion was born on Dec. 7, 1925 in Brentwood, N.H., the daughter of Gardener C. and Merle E. (Gerrish) Twombly.

She had worked at Varney Cleaners and Harley's Diner. Marion worked alongside her husband, Steve, at the business of "Steve's garage." Her greatest joy was her family and her friends and she loved traveling through the Midwest.

She was the widow of Stephen P. Chase., Sr., who died in 1989; she was also predeceased by her son, Stephen Jr., an infant son, James; her brothers, Raymond, Ralph and Bob, and her sister, Mildred Chase.
