He was buried in a free grave with Sarah Gormley who was placed over top of him on May 10, 1938, her grave was also free. The two being buried together does not mean that they were relatives. At the time that the cemetery had to bury someone for free, they maintained the right to use a lot to bury two or more people in. Also it could mean that they were relatives and died so close together that the family could have requested from the cemetery that they be buried together. ( In this case they were not related ).
