Louise A. Caldwell, 96, died Dec. 2, 1995, at Providence Extended Care Facility. Funeral and burial services were held at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, Calif.
Mrs. Caldwell was born May 17, 1899, on the Isle of Man in the United Kingdom. She came to Alaska in 1982. She was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 9785 in Eagle River and enjoyed knitting and playing bingo.
Mrs. Caldwell is survived by her daughter, Daisy Anderson of Chugiak; sister, Daisy Langman of Well Kent, England; granddaughters, Lou Fox of Chugiak and Michele Rose of San Diego; grandson, Michael Caldwell of San Diego; nephew, Troy Bond of Arcadia, Calif.; five great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Local arrangements were handled by Evergreen Memorial Chapel.
