QULIN-Jonas Edward "Ed"
Petty, 90, Qulin, died at 3:10 p.m.
Saturday at Lucy Lee Hospital. He
had been staying at General Bap-
tist Nursing Home at Campbell the
past two years. He was a retired
farmer.
Mr. Petty was born Feb. 18,
1892, in Davis County, Ind. He was
married Aug. 7, 1911, to Mary
Elizabeth Birchfield at bloom-
field. She died Dec. 19, 1974.
Surviving are one son, Chester
Petty of Qulin; one stepdaughter,
Nettie Pennington of Qulin; one
half-sister, Opal Taylor of
Doniphan; six grandchildren, 14
great-grandchildren and 16 great-
great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday
at Assembly of God Church in
Qulin. The Rev. Orville Myers and
the Rev. Randall Caraway will
Officiate. Burial will be in Qulin
Cemetery. Visitation will begin at
6 p.m. tonight at Landess Funeral
Home in Campbell.
