QULIN- Alfred Lee Birchfield, 74, a
retired farmer and longtime resident of
the Qulin area, died Thursday at his
home.
Mr. Birchfield was born Oct. 17, 1906,
in St. Francis, Ark. He was married to
Lydia Ruschee on July 1, 1937, in Poplar
Bluff. He was a member of Qulin
Assembly of God Church.
Surviving is his wife; one daughter,
Mary Parks of Grafton, Ill., five sons,
Thomas birchfield of Averdeen, Md.,
Alvin Birchfield of Shook, and James
Birchfield, George Birchfield and
Joseph Birchfield, all of Qulin; one
brother, Harold birchfield of Columbus,
Ohio; and 13 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m.
Saturday at Assembly of God Church in
Qulin. The Rev. R.A. McCallister will officiate. Burial will be in Qulin Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 7 p.m. tonight at
Landess Funeral Home of Campbell.
