Lisha L. Adams, 48 years of age, of Wymore passed away unexpectedly at the Beatrice Community Hospital in Beatrice, NE Sunday afternoon, March 16, 2014. She was born on April 9, 1965 in Reading, PA to Glen and Mary Jane (Nittinger) Adams. She was a 1983 graduate of Reading High School and lived there until moving to Wymore in 2007. Lisha enjoyed nature, flowers (especially daffodils), birds, and taking night time car rides.
Survivors include her daughter Amayi Agosto and husband Joseph of Reading, PA; grandchildren Parker and Alleigh; mother Mary Jane Cruz of Reading, PA; her life partner Emily Miccicke of Wymore; sisters Dina Adams of New Philadelphia and Maritza Antonetty and husband Eliut of Pottsville, PA; brother William Cruz and wife Cathy of New Philadelphia, PA; and nephew John Miller. She was preceded in death by her father Glen Adams (2010); and son Travis Adams.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in Wymore with Jon Palmquist officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation as cremation has taken place. A memorial has been established to the family's choice with the funeral home in charge.
