Mary Jane spent a few years in Centerville, Silver Bow, Montana before moving to Morris County, New Jersey.

Their daughter Leona Rose was born on December 13, 1920, in Dover, New Jersey. Jennette and her family moved to Massachusetts where their son James Ellis was born on July 1, 1924, in Somerville, Massachusetts.
Mary enjoyed playing whist and bingo. She also enjoyed doing needlepoint and made beautiful pieces for family and friends.
Jennette and Jim enjoyed every summer at their Camp Jim-Ona (named after their two children) in Littleton in the early 40's and later built a retirement home there in 1958.
Mary was a member of the Allston Women's Club for many years acting as Vice President. She was a Girl Scout leader for the Saint Anthony's C.Y.O. in Allston. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Boston Police Post 251. A member of the St. Anne's Sodality, Littleton Grange and a communicant of St. Anne's Church. Littleton, MA.
Mary Jane lovingly known as "Nana" was devoted to her four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Nana made the best meat pies and the yummiest spaghetti sauce. Her favorite ice cream was maple walnut.
