Helen M. (Beuth) Watson, 86, of Natrona Heights, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008, at Belair Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lower Burrell. She was born May 8, 1921, in Ford City, the daughter of the late Simon and Anna Sirwell Beuth. Helen was a member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in New Kensington. She enjoyed playing cards, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles and reading. She is survived by her children Harry A. "Skip" (Marci) Watson III, of Toledo, Ohio, James P. (Maria) Watson Sr., of Lower Burrell, Gary M. (Karen) Watson, of Pittsburgh, M. Linda (Joseph) Gill, of Cranberry Township, and Margaret A. "Marnie" (Kenneth) Kosmal, of Natrona Heights; 11 grandchildren, Lauren Brookhart, Jeanette Ernst, James (Kate) Watson Jr., Sean (Nikki) Watson, Angela Watson, Michael Watson, David Watson, Joseph (Lina) Gill Jr., Patrick Gill, Matthew Gill and Cassandra Kosmal; five great-grandchildren, Lillian and Alexander Brookhart, Abagale Ernst and Charlotte and Grant Watson; brother, Simon Beuth, of Lakeland, Fla.; and her sister-in-law, Bernadine Beuth, of Wexford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry A. Watson Jr., on Oct. 1, 1978; brother, James Beuth; and her sister, Dorothy Gancas. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, where a blessing service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at noon in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights, with the Rev. Richard J. Tusky as celebrant. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township.
