Virginia Saiia (nee Hahn), age 99 years, formerly of Maple Shade, NJ, beloved wife of the late John Saiia, passed on December 18, 2020.
The devoted grandmother of Kimberly Saiia-Coffey, Kevin Saiia, Kristen Rider (Jon), she is also survived by six great grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter in law Bonnie Saiia. Pre- deceased by her son John M. Saiia, and her brother Robert Hahn.
Virginia was an operating room technician for West Jersey Hospital in Camden and for Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, NJ. She was a creative quilter, and a member of Love Apple Quilters, Burry Basket Quilters, and she taught her grandchildren how to quilt. She was an adventurous traveler, and enjoyed trips to the Grand Canyon, White Water Rafting, NY State Canal Ride, and a trip to Alaska. She was a tremendous reader and enjoyed reading many books.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 10-11:00 AM at the DuBois Funeral Home, 700 S. White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ 08106. Attendance for family only. The interment will be held at Berlin Cemetery, 40 Clementon Rd., Berlin, NJ 08009.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Star Lake Lodge #268, Macopin Road, Bloomingdale, NJ 07403.
