Services were held at the Federated church in Westdale, Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. George Pritting officiating. Interment was in Altmar Cemetery.
Surviving are eight children, seven sons, Clarence Kinney of Ashland, Oregon, George of Lacona, Herbert of Pulaski, Clayton of Westdale, Albert of Camden, Alfred of Mexico and John Kinney of Parish; one daughter, Mrs. Mabel Metott of Williamstown; one sister, Mrs. Nettie Falvey of Williamstown; 35 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and three great great grandchidren, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Austin was born at Florence Jan. 4, 1868, the daughter of Nathan* and Rhoda Cornell Secor. She attended a private school in Camden and was married to Charles Kinney May 23, 1885, at Redfield. Mr. Kinney died in Oct. 1913.
On Oct. 10, 1916, she married Albert Austin in Altmar. Mr. Austin died Aug. 7, 1952.
Mrs. Austin lived in Altmar for many years going to Westdale in 1940. She was a member of the Westdale Federated Church and its societies

She was the daughter of John Jacob Astor Secor & Rhoda Cornell, sister of Nettie, John, Oscar & Daniel Secor.
Carrie was the wife of Charles H. Kinney. Mother of Clayton, Clarence, John, George, Herbert, Albert, Alfred & Mabel. After Charles' death she married Albert Austin, of Williamstown.
She died at the home of her son, Clayton, in Westdale.
Aged 88 years.
Carrie believed everyone went to Heaven, since life here was Hell. She did a lot of sewing, but not Sundays, always saying "Every stitch you do on Sunday you rip out with your nose in Heaven!"
