Both of her parents died before she was 10 and on the 19th of Feb 1862 she married Trenton Elmore Samuel in Shreveport (1817 VA-1880) buried in Monterey Cemetery in Marion county, Texas. They had one daughter Lillian E Samuel born in Caddo parish in 1868 died 1900 and a son G. D. Samuel in 1869 who died before 1880. Her daughter, Lillian, son in law and some of her grandchildren are buried in this cemetery so that is why I have taken the liberty to place her name here. She married Howell Willis in Caddo Parish in 1882 and a Jas McConnell in 1887 in Caddo Parish. That is the surname she used in 1900 census.
