GUEYDAN- Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday January 8, 1999 at St. Peter's Catholic Church for May Louise Reese, 79 who died at 4:38 a.m. on January 7, 1999, at Iberia Medial Center. Rev. Grady Estilette will officiate for the services. Burial will be held in Gueydan Cemetery.
Visitation will be observed on Friday from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Survivors include 4 sons, Paul G. Reese of Gueydan, Joseph Marion Reese of Crowley, Chester James Reese of Rayne, and Winifred John Reese of Biloxi, Miss., one daughter, Mrs. Terry (Martha) Frederick of Jeanerette: one brother, Joseph Chiasson of Gueydan, one sister, Ament Leger of Gueydan; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Chester P. Reese.
A native of Morse, Mrs. Reese was a resident of Gueydan and a homemaker.
