PHILLIPS CHAPEL FARMER DIED AFTER STROKE PARALYSIS
Joe W. Moore, aged 66 years, farmer, native of Tennessee but resident of Navarro county for 45 years and of Phillips Chapel 35 years, died at his home Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock following a stroke of paralysis and the funeral was held from the family home in Phillips Chapel community Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with interment in the Hopewell cemetery. The services were conducted by Revs. J. L. Hines and Hugh Miller, Church of Christ ministers.
Surviving are three daughters, Miss Hattie Moore, Phillips Chapel, Mrs. Lonnie Riley of Corsicana and Mrs. W. L. Jeffers, Holdenville, Okla.; two sons, J. M. Moore, Oklahoma City, and Roy Moore, Hugerton, Kansas.
The funeral was directed by the Corley-McMahon Funeral Home.
