Mr. Gray Reece Fulk, age 86, of 122 Country Charm Lane (formerly of Pilot Mountain) died Saturday, March 1, 2008. He was born May 11, 1921 in Surry County to the late Sidney Henderson Fulk & Sidney's 2nd wife, Ella Frances Barnes Fulk. Mr. Fulk , a veteran of the US Navy, served in the South Pacific during World War II. Gray married his first wife, Doris Imogene Sparger on Apr. 27, 1947. After her death, he married his second wife, Edith Snow. He was a retired tobacconist and a member of Union Primitive Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Union Primitive Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by Elder Avery Branch, Elder Joey Jenkins, Rev. Eugene Sherrill & Rev. Andy Atkins with interment to follow at Pilot Mountain City Cemetery.
