Lois J. Moore was born December 31, 1926, in Philo, Illinois. She passed away on Wednesday, July 26, in Springdale, Ark., where she was a longtime resident.
Lois retired from Sun Oil Company in 1991, and after retirement, worked for a number of years at Mildred's Tax Service. Lois loved to travel and play cards with her twin sister, Louise. They kept score for years as to who won each game and played thousands of games. She was an avid reader until the end of her life, and passed that love on to her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Moore; and three children: Mike Moore, Lynn Moore, and Jan Moore.
Lois is survived by three children: Gail Baldwin and husband, Charles, Phil Moore and wife, Peggi, and Mary Ellen Slape of Tulsa, Okla. She is survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be scheduled. The family is grateful for the exceptional care she received from Circle of Life Hospice and donations can be made in her name.
