Agnes Marie Bushnell, 76, of Sherman, Ill., died Feb. 3, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Ill.

Agnes was born April 20, 1935, in Springfield, the daughter of Alvin and Olive Pollard Marr. She married Benjamin Lewis Bushnell on Aug. 11, 1953, at the Laurel United Methodist Church in Springfield. They have lived in Sherman since 1960. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Marr.

Together with her husband, Ben, Agnes has co-owned and operated Royal Office Equipment in Springfield for 35 years. She also was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #437 Auxiliary.

Agnes is survived by her husband, Ben, of Sherman; two sons, Michael L. (wife, Becky) Bushnell, of Buffalo, Ill., and Gregory A. (wife, Kathy) Bushnell, of Sherman; two grandchildren, Michelle Fields, of Lincoln, Ill., and Joshua M. Bushnell, of Boulder Creek, Calif.; two great-grandchildren, Myah and Jayda Fields, of Lincoln, Ill.; two sisters, Phyllis Werner, of Beaver City, Neb., and Marilyn Marr (companion, Brenda Gordon), of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Contributions honoring Agnes' memory may be made to the Buffalo Christian Church, P.O. Box 225, Buffalo, IL 62515. Agnes' family wishes to thank Buffalo Christian Church's pastor and members who were always there with communion rites and prayers.

Curry Funeral Home in Pawnee is in charge of arrangements.
