Patricia L. Urban, 84, of Point Place, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, while surrounded by her loving family at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo Center. She was born to Mildred (Rinaldi) and Walter Merrill in Toledo, OH on September 17, 1929. Pat retired in 2009, after 37 years at Canary Cleaners. She was a friendly face that all in the Point enjoyed seeing when entering the business. She belonged to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and was involved in their various programs such as, the Memorial Church Funeral Luncheon and the Lunch Room Mother's, she also enjoyed playing in her Bunko club. She took pleasure in creating beautiful afghans by either crocheting or knitting and managed to make one for each of her great-grandchildren, before her death. However, her greatest joy and more importantly, her strength to face life's challenges, came from her family. Spending precious time with her children and grandchildren was so important and vital to who she was; they were the fabric of her life.

Surviving her are her devoted children, Donald (Lisa) Urban, Ruth Jensen, Mary (David) Perkins, Karen DeLong and Jim (Ann) Urban; son-in-law, Mike O'Brien; 10 loving grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, and pet and companion "Daisy." She is reunited with her parents; husband, Donald Urban; daughter, Diane O'Brien; son-in-law, Dennis O'Brien and brother, Richard Merrill.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2014, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home, 5300 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611. Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 5153 N. Summit St., Toledo, OH 43611 with Father Anthony Borgia officiating.
