Dick married his high school sweetheart, Norine O'Leary on December 20, 1945 in Lordsburg, New Mexico. One of his most cherished experiences was being sealed for time and all eternity to his wife and children in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Mesa Temple on January 28, 2006.
Dick worked as a farmer and rancher for the majority of his life. His true passion, the Bryce Family Ranch, would find him there every day caring for the land and the livestock. Dick taught many the meaning of hard work and the joy that can come from a lifelong desire to be close to God's creations. Sensitive and soft-spoken, Dick's sense of humor was legend, and blessed the lives of all who knew him. His testimony and faith in our Heavenly Father was in evidence in the many acts of service performed by this selfless man over his lifetime. He will be missed by many. Dick was also a member of the Elk's Lodge #1607 in Safford.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Norine, two children Cris (Laureen) of Pima and Darlyne Bryce Tarver (Terry) of Ramona, California and five grandchildren, Tami, Kasey, Jennifer, Ryan and Max, a sister, Diane, and three brothers, Dale, Gary and Boyce. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Norman.
