Chad A. Curtis, 49, of East Greenbush, NY and formerly of Morrisville, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. He was born October 21, 1973 in Hamilton, a son of the late Raymond J. and Carol I. (Morris) Curtis. He was a 1972 graduate of Morrisville-Eaton High School and studied at SUNY Morrisville and Herkimer County Community College. Chad was a self-employed construction journeyman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowboarding and was a true thrill seeker and adrenaline junkie.
Surviving is his daughter, Hana; his brothers, William J. Curtis and Dean R. Curtis, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services will be held in the Morrisville Rural Cemetery on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at 11:00 am, followed by a celebration of Chad's life at the Morrisville Community Club on Eatonbrook Reservoir, Erieville, NY 13061.
