John Lindsey Crawford married Nancy "Nannie" Ross 27 Dec 1882 in Cherokee County, Texas. After Nannie died in a Malaria epidemic he then married Ophelia Embry 27 July 1910 in Cherokee County, Texas and moved to Corsicana, Texas. His death certificate gives Jan 23, 1858 as date of birth. The 1900 Indian Territory Federal Census gives Jan 1865 as date of birth. However,for many reasons, especially on death certificates, the wrong information can be given and often is. Our family history has him born in 1860. His headstone says 1869. Therefore I have added this information to his bio and if anyone has other proof as to his actual birthdate please let me know and I will add it to the confusion.
