She was born on November 23, 1933, in Kingston, Oklahoma to the late Silas Franklin Gorrell and Beulah Dowdy Gorrell. Millie was raised in Kingston where she graduated high school in 1952. She married Lee Roy Armstrong on August 23, 1952, in Madill and he preceded her in death on November 03, 2004. Millie traveled with Lee Roy due to the construction business and moved back to Kingston in 1958. She worked as the City Clerk/City Treasurer for 32 years for the City of Kingston and was a member of the Kingston United Methodist Church and the Kingston Alumni Association. Millie enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing but her greatest love was her family.
