Rosemary K. Ackerman, 77, of Wilson Borough, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, in St. Luke's Hospital-Warren Campus.
Born March 14, 1946, in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late William and Clara (Austin) Templeton.

She graduated from Wilson High School Class of 1964.

Rosemary retired from the former Warren Hospital where she worked in the cafeteria for 25 years.

She loved spending time with her family and dancing. Rosemary was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She was a life member of Safety First Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary. Years ago, she was a member of the color guard of the former Chessman Drum & Bugle Corps.

Surviving is her loving partner of 35 years, Michael Chillot, two daughters, Michelle West and her husband Joseph, of Phillipsburg, NJ and Denise Ibrahim and her husband Samer, of Wilson Borough; a son, Shawn J. Ackerman, of Wilson Borough; two brothers, James Templeton and his wife Sandra, of Forks Township and Joseph Templeton and his wife Michelle, of Wilson Borough; two sisters, Joanne Templeton, of Easton and Dolores Stoneback and her husband Walter, of Phillipsburg, NJ; five grandchildren, Amina, Madeline, Corinne, Sameera and Ava; a great-grandson, Syncere; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Angel Ibrahim, two brothers, Leo Templeton and William Templeton, Jr. and five sisters, Shirley, Margaret, Phyllis and Theresa Templeton and Florence Austin.

Services will be held at 10am Thursday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton Street, Wilson Borough, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 132 S. Fifth Street, Easton. Call Wednesday 5-7pm and Thursday 9-10am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
