Nathan Christopher Johnson, 15, was welcomed into God's loving arms Monday, Feb. 8, 2010.

Memorial service: 10 a.m. Saturday at University Baptist Church.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up as the Nathan Johnson Memorial Fund at Wells Fargo Bank.

Nathan was born Feb. 19, 1994, to Calvin Christopher and Barbara T. Johnson in Fort Worth. He attended William James Middle School where he was in the special interest program. He was currently attending Southwest High School in the advanced placement honors program. He played football and was made a captain for the defense on the varsity team. He had a powerful love for his Lord and shared his faith with his many friends at school and church.

Survivors: His parents; brothers, August and Calvin-Jamal; grandparents, Joel and Janis Werland and Dorace Ogwuegbu; many other close family members; and many friends.
