Garrett (Gary) Henry Wyckoff died peacefully at home (The Village at Summerville) on 8/4/2023 shortly after the death of his beloved wife Elizabeth S. (Beth) Wyckoff.
They were married October 4, 1952.
Gary was born on 12/6/1927 to Mr. and Mrs. Norman Henry Wyckoff (Irma Renton) in Brooklyn, NY.
Gary earned a BA degree from Washington College, served two years in the US Army, and worked in the insurance business, eventually managed the Walker, Dehon, & Smith agency in Summerville until his retirement. Gary and Beth lived in several states until happily settling in Summerville in 1975 and moved into The Village at Summerville where they were very active in volunteer service. Gary was a Rotarian during his working years and was a long-term member of St. Paul's Anglican Church where he will be interred.
Gary is survived by his two children Bonnie Wyckoff (John White), children John-Brian (Jenny Hayes) and Liza (Michael Hall); and Peter Wyckoff (Jennifer Richardson), children Andrew (Ansley Jones) and Peter Claesen; his son-in-law John Munce, children Garrett (Adam Rathe); and Will (Hannah Danahey); and four great grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his brother Bruce, his wife Elizabeth and daughter Wendy Munce (John Munce).
