He was married to Polly Jane Trimble (1884-1930).


Florumsy Trimble, 71, prominent farmer of the Norfleet section of the county, died Thursday, January 18, after an illness of several months. He was a native of the county, a son of the late Cy and Melissa Logan Trimble, both members of prominent early Pulaski County families.

He was a loyal and active church worker, always interested in the betterment of his church, his community and his home. He was a devoted husband and father and will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.

Funeral services were held Sunday, January 21, at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, the Rev. Bert Whitaker and the Rev. J.R. Sears officiating. Interment was in the Tarter Cemetery.

He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Beulah Molen of Trimble, Mrs. Opal Norfleet of Norfleet, Mrs. Bania Pierce of Farmer City, Illinois, Mrs. Nelva Wiles of Oxford, Indiana, and Mrs. Lexie Simpson of Science Hill; a son, Delbert Trimble of Farmer City, Illinois, and three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Jane Tarter of Windom, Minnesota, Mrs. Brent Tarter of Plymouth, Michigan, and Mrs. Nannie Dodson, of Bud, Kentucky.
