Sallye was the daughter of Charles Franklin and Ida Curbow. She is buried beside her husband Frank Lawson who died in 1980. Although they never had any children, Sallye loved her nephews and neices very much. She was a faithful member of the Canyon Creek Baptist Church in Temple, Tx and her very dear friend, Evelyn Stone, made her a part of her family, surrounded her with love and laughter and was there with Sallye to the end.
