Harold served his country for 40 years in the U.S Army serving during the Korean Conflict, and retired as a Lt. Colonel. He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and Massillon American Legion Post #221. He was inducted in the Veterans Hall of Fame in Columbus, Ohio in 2006. Harold is survived by his wife, Ada; his son Harold D. Leone; his step-son Nicklas Drochak; his grandchildren Angel Thompson and Anthony Leone; his step-grandchildren Nile, Noa and Maya; his great-grandchildren Jada, Stella, Lillie, Aleah and Dean; his brother, Robert Leone and his sister, Carmen R. Moore and a host of family and friends. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his first wife Drucilla A. Leone in 2008; his brother Danny Leone; his sisters, Dorothy Dodds, Lillian Williams, Mary Ann Bethel and Jeanie Stone.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 10a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Pastor Linda Slutz will be officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 09, 2023 from 3-5p.m. Burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 12:15p.m. with full Military Honors.
