Revell Dewan "Velly Vell" Andrews, age 18, was born on September 28, 2004 in New Orleans, LA to Revert, Sr. and Deanna Powell Andrews. He was welcomed into the arms of God on Monday, June 26, 2023 in New Orleans, LA. Driven by his passion for music, beginning with his father, Revert, Sr., brothers, Revert, Jr., Revon and the world renowned Andrews Family, he relocated back to New Orleans from Jackson, MS to attend New Harmony High School and recently graduated from McDonough 35 High School, Class of 2023. In addition to his parents, Revell is also survived by his brothers, Dana Williams, III, Revert Jr., Revon and Devello Andrews; grandparents, Revert Weston and Debra Andrews, Morris and Mary Martin; uncle, Don Powell; aunts, Aisha, Toyann and Toya Andrews; nephew, Dana Williams, IV; nieces, A'More and Raina Williams, as well as a host of cousins, other family and devoted friends. Relatives, friends and former classmates are invited to attend the funeral. A Celebration service honoring the life of the late Revell Dewan "Velly Vell" Andrews will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Labat Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip Street, New Orleans, LA 70116 on Monday, July 10, 2023 at 10 am, Keith Clark, Officiating. Interment: Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation 9 am in the chapel.
