Service Details
Funeral service for Bridget Ann Barbee, age 37, of Decatur, will be Tuesday, January 5, 2016, 1:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Hugh Bohlin officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 4, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Bridget passed away in the early morning hours of January 2, 2016, at her home. She was born August 3, 1978, to Michael Ray Barbee and Judy Shelton Barbee. Bridget's favorite things were Mickey Mouse and The Price is Right. She loved pushing her baby doll in the buggy at stores. Bridget was a 1999 graduate of Decatur High Developmental School.

She loved being with her niece and nephews; one nephew, Aaron, was special to her and always made her happy.

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Ray Barbee, grandparents, Sidney (Reggie) and Joyce Barbee, and Verbon and Jeanette Shelton.

She is survived by her mother, Judy Shelton Barbee; one brother, Brandon Barbee; two nephews, Alec Barbee and Aaron Barbee; one niece, Cailey Barbee; special uncle, Kenny Shelton; and special aunt, Frances Roach.
